Of course the human tragedy of New Orleans must remain the most important memory, but here’s a poignant article which describes a musical rescue from Fats Domino’s hurricane-ravaged New Orleans home.
Picture an upturned white Steinway, its legs and keyboard ripped off, but the electric Wurlizer baby grand upstairs still intact.
