Alesis has announced the launch of its Nitro Max Kit, an eight-piece electronic drum kit with mesh heads and Bluetooth connectivity.
The mesh heads offer highly responsive playing, with Alesis claiming they lead the way for natural, responsive electronic drum performance that enables accurate playing while maintaining a quiet environment more suited to home use.
The Nitro Max set comes with a 10″ dual-zone snare drum, three 8″ toms, three 10″ cymbals, a kick drum tower, plus kick and hi-hat peels and necessary cabling and stand, sticks and drum key.
The drum module includes 32 premium drum kits from BFD, while the Nitro Max module includes classical and modern drum kit presets making it easier to find a kit which suites whatever genre or style required. There’s also built-in expandable outputs which can take the Nitro Max expansion kit if desired.
There are sixteen presets available for saving kits and sounds, while the Bluetooth integration allows audio to be streamed. There’s also a device holder so users can use a tablet or phone to view music, tutorials and such like.
The kit also comes with limited time subscriptions to drum learning services Drumeo and Melodics.
