Arturia has released the latest version of its Pigments sound design software synthesiser, with a half price launch offer running until 18th February 2025.
Created for in-depth sound design with a whole heap of synthesis types and a responsive, colour-coded interface made for experimentation.
There are six forms of synthesis — modal, granular, wavetable, sample, harmonic and virtual analog, alongside the Utility engine.
Over 1,600 presets are built in, instantly playable and editable, with additional sound banks available to purchase online.
There are three engine slots for each of the six forms of synthesis. External audio can also be processed by the synth. Pigments has 13 filter types and 51 filter modes, from warm analog classics to futuristic formants and digital lo-fi.
Pigments offers unlimited connections between envelopes, LFOs, random sources and more, with simple drag-and-drop operation in the interface.
Choose from and combine up to three of the 19 studio-grade effects including reverbs and dynamic delays, distortion and vocoder textures.
The software also has a complete generative sequencer with arpeggiator.
