Behringer has announced the launch of its JT-4000 MICRO, a portable four-voice hybrid synthesiser with two analog modelling oscillators per voice, analog filter and arpeggiator.
The emphasis is on portability and programmability, and claims to be a faithful reproduction of the JP-8k sound engine with a supersaw waveform. In addition is features 32 memory presets, and more.

Analog filters in the JT-4000 MICRO coupled with an authentic 12-bit DAC give it a warm and natural sound that’s evocative of the timbre of classic full-sized synths but in a sleek, convenient and portable enclosure.
Hardware wise it features an electro capacitive keyboard with 16 touch-sensitive keys. In addition there are filter and amplifier envelopes and two powerful LFOs for a wide range of sound sculpting possibilities.
