Excite Audio has announced the first synth in its Bloom range of plugins. Bloom Synth Atmosphere offers a whole range of ambient textures and sounds for building lush soundscapes in a variety of genres, either in their own right or as background and fill-ins for adding depth.
Think submerged drones, ethereal textures, pads, arpeggiated sequences, liminal textures and lush atmospheres.
Synth Atmosphere contains over 250 professionally created presets as well as the ability to import your own samples.
When using the synth, the keyboard becomes a trigger, with white notes setting off samples and loops, and black notes altering properties like playback speed, pitch, modulation and the like. There’s also four powerful macros for controlling chains of events.

- Rhythmic (RHY) – Rhythmic, percussive and chopped ambiences.
- Synths (SYN) – Synth and electronic-focused atmospheres with no organic textures.
