Darkglass has announced the availability of the long-awaited AXIOMA monosynth block for its ANAGRAM bass effects unit.
It’s especially great for those who don’t want to build their own synth sounds from nothing — it comes with 12 templates to get you creating sounds even more quickly.
AXIOMA has saw, square and triangle wave options for oscillators one and two, then a sine wave for the dedicated suboscillator. Tone richness and thickness is added via oscillator 2 semitone and fine pitch adjustments, and then there’s envelope shaping plus cutoff and resonance.
Of course it integrates brilliantly with other modules in the range. It claims the tracking is on par with the best synths out there, so long as playing style is clean with proper muting.
