Dreadbox has almost dropped its latest hardware instrument, the Artemis — a six-voice polyphonic analog synth with fully analog signal path, powerful oscillators, versatile modulation options, and a suite of premium stereo effects designed by Sinevibes.
Interestingly, and much like the Mousse we’ve just teased, the Artemis isn’t shown anywhere on the Dreadbox website (yet) — but it is “coming soon” on a number of online stores, so we presume it is indeed coming soon.
Fortunately, many of those retailers have had the lowdown on the feature set, so here goes:

Features
- Six-voice analogue polyphony with oscillators inspired by Dreadbox’s Typhon and Murmux Adept, enabling lush chords and expressive lead sounds.
- Versatile 12/24dB low-pass filter and resonant high-pass filter for detailed frequency shaping.
- Two ADSR envelopes and multi-mode LFOs, including one with fade-in and one with cross-modulation (XMOD) capabilities, for dynamic and evolving modulations.
- Integrated Sinevibes-designed FX suite, featuring stereo reverb, delay, modulation effects, and master distortion for professional-grade sound depth.
- Full analogue signal path with seamless waveform transitions, FM, glide, and mix settings, providing a diverse tonal palette.
- Polyphonic step sequencer for creating intricate, layered sequences in real time.
- Stereo outputs with voice spreading for a wider soundstage and enhanced spatial audio.
In the UK, pricing looks to be around £1,100 including VAT. Other prices to be confirmed.
