Another quick look at a tiny synth which came about in the 2010s and now seems to have disappeared without much trace, except the fully-funded Kickstarter page which is still in place.
Hell Synth is a powerful little drone synth which came either prebuilt or in kit form. Created by Roberto D Jordan, it creates a wide range of sounds for endless experimentation.
Features
- Hard-core noise synth
- Six digital wavetable oscillators
- Tons of glitch, modulation and waveforms
- Arpeggiator
- MIDI out
The creator company, Cat Full of Ghosts, appears to still be developing and posting updates on its other products, primarily video projects, but also including the Yowler noise/drone synth.
