The Casio CZ-3000 is a synthesizer released in 1986. It is aimed at musicians wanting to create and modify their own sounds.
The CZ-3000 has 61 synth/organ style full sized keys without touch sensitivity or aftertouch. It has 16 notes of polyphony. It has 64 on board sounds but no acoustic piano sounds, and a sustain/damper pedal.
It has built-in MIDI capabilities. It has no built-in learning system. It has no built-in speakers which means you will have to connect it to external amplification and speakers in order to hear it. It can run from both AC and battery power. It's very much an entry level model, making it cheaper but also with fewer functions or lower quality sounds than more expensive keyboards. It's a part of the CZ family of instruments, whose models spanned from 1984 to 1986. It's one of the very last models released before the CZ family stopped new models in 1986.
