Overview

The Nord Wave 2 is a synthesizer released in 2021. It is aimed at musicians wanting to create and modify their own sounds.

The Wave 2 has 49 synth/organ style full sized keys with touch sensitivity and aftertouch. It has 48 notes of polyphony. It has 18 on board sounds including pianos and real world sounds, and a sustain/damper pedal. It has built-in MIDI capabilities. It has no built-in learning system. It has no built-in speakers which means you will have to connect it to external amplification and speakers in order to hear it. It runs from AC power.

The Nord Wave 2 is a powerful 4-part performance synthesizer combining Virtual Analog synthesis, Samples, FM and Wavetable with an intuitive layer-focused interface.

With 48 voice polyphony, innovative performance features and hands-on controls, the Nord Wave 2 offers outstanding sonic possibilities with advanced layering and tweaking on the fly.
