The Roland EP-30 is a digital piano released in 1974. It is aimed at those primarily wanting a quality piano sound and keyboard feel.
The EP-30 has 61 semi-weighted full sized keys with touch sensitivity but no aftertouch. It has eight notes of polyphony, which is considered low for a modern digital piano but was common on older instruments with less advanced sound technology. It has four on board sounds but no acoustic piano sounds. It does have other real world sounds though, and a sustain/damper pedal.
It has no built-in learning system. It has no built-in speakers which means you will have to connect it to external amplification and speakers in order to hear it. It runs from AC power. The EP-30 is considered to be a rare instrument. It's a part of the EP family of instruments.
