Overview

The Yamaha PS-30 is a home keyboard released in 1980. It is marketed primarily to home musicians.

The PS-30 has 49 synth/organ style full sized keys without touch sensitivity or aftertouch. It has eight notes of polyphony. It has 18 on board sounds including pianos and real world sounds, accompaniments and rhythms, and no pedals.

The PS-30 uses Yamaha's Phase Alignment Stereo Sampling, for improved stereo sample imaging with o-point filtering.

It has no built-in learning system. It has a built-in amplifier and speakers. It can run from both AC and battery power.
