Overview
The Yamaha PSS-401 is a home keyboard released in 1985. It is marketed primarily to home musicians.
The PSS-401 has 44 synth/organ style mini keys without touch sensitivity or aftertouch. It has seven notes of polyphony. It has 10 on board sounds including pianos and real world sounds, accompaniments and rhythms, and no pedals.
The PSS-401 uses Yamaha's Phase Alignment Stereo Sampling, for improved stereo sample imaging with o-point filtering.
It has no built-in learning system. It has a built-in amplifier and speakers. It can run from both AC and battery power.It's a part of the PSS family of instruments.
