The Yamaha YPP-100 is a digital piano released in 2002. It is aimed at those primarily wanting a quality piano sound and keyboard feel.
The YPP-100 has 76 synth/organ style full sized keys with touch sensitivity but no aftertouch. It has 64 notes of polyphony, which is considered low for a modern digital piano but was common on older instruments with less advanced sound technology. It has eight on board sounds including pianos and real world sounds, and sustain/damper and soft pedals.
It uses Yamaha's AWM sound generation. Advanced Wave Memory is a classic high-quality sample playback and layering engine.
It has built-in MIDI capabilities. It offers an on-board learning system. It has a built-in amplifier and speakers. It runs from AC power.View Prices on AmazonView Prices on ReverbView Prices on ebayView Prices on Music & Arts
