How to use the split point function on the Yamaha YPT-220

The Split Point setting can be changed as desired, with the default split point set at key 54 (F#2) - this is 19 keys up the keyboard from the left hand side.



To change the split point, press the [FUNCTION[ button repeatedly until "SplitPnt" appears on the display.



Then use the number key pad or the + and - buttons to set the number of the key you wish to use as a split point. The diagram underneath will update to show which key has been selected. Note that key numbering starts from the lowest C key at 36, not 1.



Press + and - at the same time to reset the split point position.
