Last year KORG celebrated two decades of the classic and iconic microKORG portable synth with a limited edition Crystal model. Now, fresh into 2024, KORG has revamped the design and functionality completely and offers up the new microKORG.
Maintaining a respectful nod to the portability, playable mini keyboard, and some other interface elements, the new microKORG has a completely new, powerful sound engine, many more usable programs, a “visually astounding” user interface, and more.
It comes with a 2.8-inch full-colour IPS LCD display, offering a wealth of editing and information presenting possibilities, including sound shaping. There’s also a powerful vocal processor with harmoniser and hard-tuning, and a loop recorder.
Available as the base model, plus two limited editions in cool metallic black or metallic white. Pricing and availability to be confirmed.
