MOD POD is a soon-to-be-launched USB MIDI controller designed to be both feature-laden and portable, for those times when you want the ability to more naturally add expression and other control to DAW tracks or performances, without the pain of mouse-clicking, when you don’t have the space or availability of a MIDI keyboard, or you want extra controls to tack on to your existing setup.
Designed by Alex, who says he created MOD POD during the countless hours of doing the same repetitive things over and over while creating an Avicii-inspired song production but not finding any existing product which fulfilled his needs.
Now patented, MOD POD provides professional-grade pitch and modulation wheels and real-time expression controls into a compact pocket-size USB-powered controller.
MOD POD comes with a configuration tool making it fully programmable to have it control the most important things at any time. Of course it can’t compete with larger controllers, but it wins out on size.
Looks like a well-built and versatile little controller, maybe not for everyone but certainly a lot of usage especially for those doing composition and audio work on the move.
