Welcome to the Rainbow Keyboard Music pages, where we have published a number of simple tune melodies written out with a very basic, easy to learn system.
These are ideal for very early and beginning piano/music keyboard learners.
The following songs are currently available:

This page shows a melody using simple colours and numbers.
A total of 36 keys from a standard piano or music keyboard are shown - 21 white keys and 15 black keys.
Every white note has been coloured and given a number. Each numbered key repeats three times. A span of eight notes is called an octave.
Every circle represents a single beat.
Circles with numbers in mean you should play that coloured note on your keyboard instrument.
If the circle also contains an arrow pointing downwards, that means to play in the lower octave (left hand side).
If the circle also contains an arrow pointing upwards, that means to play in the upper octave (right hand side).
Otherwise, play in the middle octave.
If the circle contains a number and a + symbol, you should play the black key immediately to the right of the white key indicated.
If the circle contains a horizontal line, it means you should hold the previous note down for that beat. Don't play the note again.
Click or tap on the PLAY button at the top of the screen to hear the notes. Change the speed (tempo) of the song using the slider, with 1x being normal speed, 0.5x being half speed, 2x being double speed, and so on. Speed cannot be changed during playback.
