The Pianos
Japanese Upright
A U-Series upright known for its bright yet earthy tone. Ideal for contemporary, jazz, songwriting, modern production.
American Grand
A Steinway Model D with a warm, vibrant tonal signature, wide dynamic range, rich harmonics, and spacious resonance. Great for solos and bold performance alike.
Japanese Electric Grand
The Yamaha CP-70 electro-acoustic piano with real strings and pickups, producing the tone of ’80s pop, rock, and electronic music.
User Interface
The interface has been carefully designed so it’s easy to simply start playing the sounds. It offers a clean, elegant layout which prioritises clarity and speed.
Global controls include timbre shift, global tune, mechanical noise, and lid position. It gives incredible depth of customisation and means you have a much wider collection of sound palettes.
The amp and mic section gives access to classic amplifier models and microphone choices, including natural acoustic and amped tones.
Presets
Every control can be saved and instantly recalled, allowing fast access to favourite sounds. It’s also possible to switch instruments while maintaining presets, so you can hear how each of the three pianos sounds with the same alternations.
Velocity curve and depth can be set, customising the playing experience regardless of what controller keyboard is being used.
Rhodes says its Pianology plugin has Beene efficiently designed, thus optimising CPU usage.
