Roland isn’t shy about trying to create a stir with teasing headlines and posters. Last year they set a countdown timer to “Tomorrow Returns” which led to the launch of the TR-1000 Rhythm Creator.
Now their socials ask “Ready for a glimpse of what’s coming from Roland?” and welcoming us to “The Future. Redefined. Then. Now. Next.” with the promise that “the road ahead is full of surprises”.
They then take us back a decade to 909 day in 2016 when they launched a 24-hour global event — The Future. Redefined — which launched a load of products including the Aerophone, Katana amps, DJ controllers, and V-Drums technology.
On to today, they mention the newly launched FP-40 digital piano with Piano Sphere and the GO:KEYS 3 Minion (still not officially launched) before saying that for the rest of the year, they and BOSS will announce new products, collabs, and events.
What Comes Next?
Well, apart from Roland’s website currently (at time of writing) being down… and now “under maintenance”… oh and now it’s back but very slow.
