Roland has announced that its powerful ZEN-Core synthesis system is now available as a DAW software synth called ZENOLOGY.
ZEN-Core is found in a large number of Roland’s products including GO:KEYS, V-Stage pianos, JUNO-D, EX stage pianos, FANTOM, FANTOM EX and JUPITER-X.
At the core of ZENOLOGY are discrete synth voices called partials, each with an oscillator, filter, amplifier, dual LFOs and EQ. Up to four partials can be layered, drawing from a library of PCM waveforms and authentic Roland oscillator and filter models. In addition are expressive LFOs, flexible routing, and over 90 effects.
ZENOLOGY is available in a few flavours. ZENOLOGY GX is integrated in the GALAXIAS environment, putting thousands of Roland sounds at your fingertips with a modern UI, sophisticated layering, advanced sound browser and integrated creative tools.
ZENOLOGY Pro is a dedicated plugin version of the ZEN-Core synthesis system and integrates with your favourite DAW.
ZENOLOGY offers the core sounds of Pro in a streamlined plugin interface with basic editing features — ideal as a way in to experiencing ZEN-Core goodness.
ZENOLOGY FX brings DAW users legendary Roland effects processing which can be applied to sounds and tracks as desired.
