Studiologic Numa Compact SE and X SE extend the Numa range

Studiologic has announced two new instruments in its classy Numa line, derived from the Numa X Piano. The Numa Compact SE and Compact X SE share features with the Numa Compact but boast a powerful new sound engine.

Acoustic Engine

The new acoustic engine includes new acoustic piano sounds featuring high resolution samples combined with adjustable additional layers for hyper-realistic notes, better control of strings and duplex resonance, and adjustable damper noise.

Electric Engine

This engine combines a mix of samples and effects, emulating the realism of the Numa X Piano physical modelling technology, and featuring new tine sounds and FM emulations, tine volume control and damper noise control.

Organ Engine

The new virtual oscillators engine is capable of generating any wave, transforming the Compact SE into a powerful synth. Sliders allow unique sounds to be created from forty library sounds, including portamento, staccato and legato control, mono/poly modes and real time sound control.
