Teenage Engineering is celebrating a decade since the first in its line of Pocket Operators came onto the scene.
Claiming the Pocket Operator range has earned its spot as the world’s most affordable and accessible music machine, it has sold millions of units. It certainly is iconic.

After a beta release at the 2014 Moogfest, the $59 PO-10 was launched, sporting just a bare circuit board, LCD screen and a handful of knobs.
The full current lineup of Pocket Operators are the PO-12 rhythm, PO-14 sub, PO-16 factory, PO-20 arcade, PO-24 office, PO-28 robot, PO-32 tonic, PO-33 K.O! and PO-35 speak.
As part of the celebrations, the company is selling the PO-12 at its originally intended price of $49. New limited edition anniversary merchandise is also expected soon.
They’re also running a competition in which you can submit ideas, videos and designs for future Pocket Operator devices or accessories.
