Imaginando has announced the release of version 1.8.0 of their Visual Synthesizer (VS) which is said to be a major update featuring key optimisations, including a more synchronised and performant render engine, improved video recording and enhanced audio-visual sync.
There are four new audio/MIDI demos, along with FLAC support and more flexible MIDI routing. Also, note range filter and an advanced new layer info panel.
THey’ve also introduced the Retro Riot expansion pack by Fernando Kopp, inspired by ’80s synthwave and ’90s arcade culture, and including glitchy textures, neon grids, pixel distortions and more.
