I am still impressed every time I see a piano “in the wild”, gracing a public place with its presence and being available for anyone to play, and while not everyone shares my view, they are often appreciated, particularly when someone with even a little musical talent plays them.
So I’ve created this article which will show off some of the best street pianos. It will be added to over time. If you know of any great street pianos which should be displayed here, let me know.
Piano in the Plaza – San Luis Obispo
Only in place until the end of October 2023, this piano is shared with the community as part of “ARTober”, a new program that recognizes October as National Arts and Humanities month. Who knows, it may make a return next year. Source
