A keyboard is not just for Christmas: A Buyers Guide
IntroductionPart One: TypePart Two: BudgetPart Three: FeaturesPart Four: ExtrasPart Five: Manufacturers

I’ve written this guide to help anyone looking to buy the perfect keyboard/piano this Christmas, either as a gift or for themselves.

In five parts, I’ll cover:

  1. Type: Acoustic piano, digital piano, home keyboard, workstation, synth… what’s best for you?
  2. Budget: $200 to $4000+. How big are your pockets?
  3. Features: Keys, sounds, tutors, lights, sequencers, effects… You pays your money…
  4. Extras: Stands, pedals, seats, DVDs… all those extra bags…
  5. Manufacturers: Main instrument manufacturers

This guide will not tell you which keyboard to buy. After all is considered, it’s a personal choice.

Continued below...

What it will do is to help you explore all the options, so that you can make a better informed choice.

Happy shopping!
