There had been murmurings about the Bree6 analog poly synth from GS Music since at least NAMM this year, but we hadn’t seen anything concrete about it.
Now there’s a product page for it, so we can take a closer look.
This fully analog sound generator offers six voice of polyphony, each equipped with a single VCO and sub-oscillator. The signal path includes a mixer, 4-pole low-pass voltage-controlled ladder filter (VCF), and voltage-controlled amplifier (VCA).
Control signals are digitally generated, incorporating one LFO and two ADSR-type envelope generators.
The Bree6 also has an effects processor with chorus and delay, and it supports MIDI Polyphonic Expression, allowing for detailed performance dynamics when used with a compatible controller.
The interface has been designed to offer straightforward and intuitive use: one knob per function rather than menu diving.
